All the cold-hardy species in the Sampler are little known by gardeners and rarely seen in cultivation. The Sampler includes a total of 4 plants: two choice miniature species, Agave toumeyana v. ‘Bella’ from central AZ, and Agave utahensis v. kaibabensis from Nevada, Agave utahensis, a semi-dwarf species from north-eastern Arizona, and the large clustering Agave neomexicana from the eastern plains of New Mexico.
